Collection: Shark

Some species of sharks are suitable for large home aquariums, particularly smaller, bottom-dwelling types such as the Bamboo Shark, Epaulette Shark, and Coral Catshark. These sharks are relatively docile and adapt well to captivity when provided with adequate space, a fine sandy substrate, and stable water conditions.

They require a large, elongated tank—typically 180 gallons or more—and a diet rich in meaty foods such as squid, shrimp, and fish. While fascinating to observe, aquarium sharks are sensitive to water quality and tank mates, making them best suited for experienced marine aquarists.
