Green Star Polyp

Description:

Green star polyps are soft corals characterized by small, yellow or green tentacles emerging from a purplish-red mat. Each polyp features eight smooth, slender tentacles encircling a star-shaped mouth, which often displays a strikingly contrasting color.

These corals can grow into colonies up to one foot (0.3 m) in size, with individual polyps measuring less than 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) in diameter.
